I've been slacking

Hey everyone! I apologize for not posting as often lately. I have been attending to the Senior Blog a lot more and I'm sorry!
Well as you know, we are booked solid with Senior portraits for the summer. Andrew is shooting up a storm, and the rest of us are trying to keep up with orders and getting your images ready to view!

I am keeping my schedule as open as possible so that we can still have time for the children's portraits. Our gardens are SO FULL this summer. We are still waiting for all the flowers to bloom...it shouldn't be too long. Maybe over the weekend!
The rain will help with that.

So as a BLOG special, I would like to offer you 50% off an outdoor children's session! Email me or call me before the end of the week and I will give you half off your session fee. (just for kids though)

Also, we are going to be changing our Kid's Club just a little bit so stay tuned for information on that! Trust me, it is for the better!

Date Night

Ok everyone,
If you're in the area..grab your special someone and head out to the Lansing Mall and eat at the Red Cedar Grill! This is a great place. Don't let the location scare you away, the food is wonderful! The atmosphere is very cool and relaxed, the staff was really great and they even have live music on Friday nights.
Check it out!

So much has happened...

...since I've last posted!

First of all, I have to say Congratulations to Meghan and Loren! They got married June 9th and it was a beautiful Saturday! We wish you guys all the best and lots of love!

They love to kiss :)

I was gone last week to attend a photography school called GLIP. I was up in Traverse City soaking up tons of new ideas, making new photography friends and enjoying the weather. We had a great week! I was Bryan Cox's GLIPPEE(which is basically a helper). Bry is a great guy all around. Smart, funny, creative, great photographer and single! (ladies, anyone interested?) We had a great time making fun of each other. I think the best night at GLIP was the baseball game that we went to. There were about 20 of us that went, and we were cheering loud and doing the wave! Here's a couple pics from the game!
This is me and Bry!
Me and Carly
Crazy cheering Lindsay!

And today I'm back to work! Putting all my new knowledge to use!
Enjoy this gorgeous night everyone!

Brett & Carolyn 6.02.07

Brett and Carolyn were married at the St. Joe Catholic Church in St. Johns on Saturday the 2nd. It was a very warm summer day with a small but mighty rain and hail storm. Yes, that's right hail! Luckily, the bridal party was already in the limo when the rain began. It was over quickly and we made our way to the Capital for some more pictures.
The wedding was beautiful. A few tears were shed during the ceremony, followed by lots of cheering during the reception. The bridesmaids were dressed in pale yellow and looked stunning. And the bride...gorgeous, calm and collected. The groomsmen were gentlemen to say the least. You could tell that they were a tight knit group.
Thank you both for letting us be a part of your day! We are truly honored to have been there.
Congratulations!

The Power of Prayer

This little girl has changed not only my life, but hundreds of lives around us. This is Kelsey and she is the strongest, bravest, and most determined person that I know.
She is ten years old and 9 weeks ago, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She has gone through surgery after surgery, a stroke, and therapies of every kind to get her back up on her feet. She has so much strength...more than most.

With thanks to her family, I want to say that I have witnessed more than just one miracle in this little girl's life. Her family has kept an online journal so that her family and friends could keep up with her progress. Every day Kelsey would have a new hurdle to face and they would ask for prayer. And every day a prayer was answered. And now; Kelsey is home, back in her room, with her things and her comforts. And we look back at how far she has come in these 9 weeks.
And I say to you that God can do amazing things. He has shown that here.
